Job Description:

Young adults receive one-year or less, intensive job training through Year Up United, combining in-classroom skill development, internships, and job placement support, with personalized coaching and mentorship. An educational stipend is also provided.The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support. Internships may be available at leading organizations in the Bay Area, such as Salesforce, Workday, and PayPal.To be eligible, applicants must be:

• 18-29 years old
• High school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Have not obtained a Bachelor's degreeParticipants gain professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and ongoing support. Some coursework is eligible for college credit. During the internship phase, students receive an educational stipend of $525 per week.Program highlights include in-depth classes in:

  • Data AnalyticsUpon graduation, 80% of participants are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months, with an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
